My Internship Experiences
Since the summer of my Freshman year of undergrad, I have had the opportunity to intern within different industries. Here are my experiences and a little about what I was able to learn from each company.
AvidXchange
Customer Onboarding Intern
I assisted in creating organizational material for the national onboarding department. With the use of VISIO, I created visuals to create procedures and systems for internal use. These resources aided departmental communication and employees with Salesforce references. I worked closely with Bank Channel to create partner documents. By the end of the internship, I was able to present one of my final projects on the nationwide Onboarding team meeting.​
American Academy of Ophthalmology
Intern
In a one-week intensive internship, I was able to attend and work at the national conference held in San Francisco. From registration to the technology pavilion, I was able to assist the Director of Meeting Services.
Clarke Allen Events
Event Intern
During my time at Clarke Allen Events, I was able to explore the complexities of corporate and social events. I was able to aid with contracts, promotional material, and client proposals. This experience also allowed me to become familiar with event software such as Planning Pod and Social Tables.
Visit Lake Norman
Marketing Intern
At Visit Lake Norman I was able to create copy for WordPress pages on their website as well as plan social media content. I assisted in event logistics, in person customer service, and clerical duties.
